About the black travertine — genuine natural stone with a matte black surface finish

The body of this pendant is made from genuine travertine stone. To create a deep, even black aesthetic, the stone surface is finished with a matte black coating — rather than left in its natural state. This is an intentional design choice: the weight, density, and natural pore structure of genuine travertine are preserved, while the surface colour is controlled. The stratified, textured surface is an authentic product of the stone’s natural formation — this is exactly as it was designed to be.
