This is an inherent quality of artisan handcraft — your lamp will have its own distinctive character, not a defect. Uses six G9 bi-pin base bulbs. Warm LED G9 bulbs (2700K, max 5W each) are strongly recommended — they run cooler and are safer near the feather canopy than halogen alternatives. Do not exceed the rated wattage. Bulbs not included.

Will the feather color match the product photos exactly?
Because the feathers are hand-dyed, colors may vary slightly between pieces. This is a natural characteristic of artisan handcraft — each lamp has its own distinctive character, not a defect.
What bulb does it use?
G9 bi-pin base × 6. Warm LED G9 bulbs (2700K, max 5W each) are strongly recommended — cooler and safer near the feathers than halogen. Bulbs not included.
Is this lamp hardwired or plug-in?
Plug-in. The lamp comes with a 59.1″ cord and an inline on/off push button switch — plug into a standard wall outlet. No electrician required.
What base metal finishes are available?

How do I care for the ostrich feathers?
Gently fluff the plumes with your hands to restore their shape. Keep away from high humidity, direct sunlight, and heat sources. Do not use scissors or a comb — hand-fluffing only. Dust lightly with a soft dry cloth or a cool air blower.
