The pendant shade is produced via polymer injection molding. A

small circular mold gate trace

is visible near the top of the shade on every unit — this is a standard manufacturing characteristic, not a defect. It is shown in our product close-up photos so you know exactly what to expect.

Once illuminated, the warm glow draws the eye and the trace becomes virtually imperceptible. It does not affect the lamp’s structural integrity, safety, or its cheerful visual impact.
