13. Installation Notes: Installation Notes
Hardwired ceiling install — a licensed electrician is recommended.
Cables shorten on-site; for drops beyond the standard max, request extended cable when ordering.
Sloped ceiling compatible up to 15°; steeper pitches ship with a free sloped-ceiling adapter — send pitch angle when ordering.
For tall stairwells over 20 ft, the 13 or 15-light is sized to fall through the full well so columns read at every floor.
We recommend a 4–6W E26/E27 LED in 2700K warm white per column to preserve the alabaster’s natural color.
Alabaster is a natural stone — small surface variations and color veining are inherent and not defects.

15. FAQs (exactly 5): FAQs
Which size fits my room? How do I match light count to room area?
Use the Sizes table above. Quick guide: dining room or open stair landing (55–130 sq ft) → 3 or 5-light; foyer or single-story stairwell (110–215 sq ft) → 7 or 9-light; double-height foyer or two-story stairwell (215+ sq ft) → 11, 13, or 15-light. Email us your ceiling height for a free layout.
Does this work with E26 bulbs in the US, or do I need E27?
E26 (North America) and E27 (EU/global) share the same physical thread — only voltage rating differs. The fixture is AC 110–240V universal, so a standard US E26 LED works as-is.
What bulb gives the best look?
Each column takes one E26/E27 bulb. A 4–6W LED in 2700K warm white preserves the alabaster’s natural color (recommended for most rooms). Edison filament gives a vintage glow but reduces the alabaster’s translucent effect. Avoid cool-white above 3000K — it washes out the stone tone.
How do I install this on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
Standard canopies fit flat ceilings or pitches up to 15°. For steeper slopes — common over open stairwells — a sloped-ceiling adapter ships free. Send the pitch angle at order.
