Eos is a sculptural table lamp built from kozo-style mulberry-fiber paper, hand-pleated into a folded fan that curls inward at the center like an unfurling shell. The translucent paper diffuses warm light evenly across hundreds of fine ridges, while a single red-painted accent line traces the inner spiral. The whole shade rests on a slim matte black powder-coated steel base.

Compact at 50 × 60 cm (about 20″ × 24″) and 3 kg net weight — easy to lift, sized to anchor a console table, sideboard, or large reading desk. E27 socket on a plug-in cord; bulb sold separately. Best for rooms with 2.5 m (8 ft) ceilings or higher, where the sculptural silhouette has space to read fully.

Hand-pleated paper — visible glue traces and slight wrinkles are part of the process.

Each shade is folded and shaped by hand. Subtle creases, faint glue marks where pleats meet the frame, and minor variation in pleat depth are signs of craft, not damage. The paper relaxes into its final form within a few days of use as it warms slightly under the bulb.

Not dimmable.

Eos uses a non-dimming circuit by design — the integrated wiring isn’t compatible with wall dimmers or smart-dimmer apps. For mood lighting, pair with a warm-tone LED bulb (2700K) and use the inline cord switch.

What bulb should I buy?

The paper has visible creases — is that normal?

Yes. Each shade is hand-folded over a frame. Subtle creases and minor glue marks are inherent to this artisan process and will relax slightly over time.

Can it survive a humid bathroom?

No. Paper shades absorb moisture and warp in humid environments. Eos is designed for dry interior spaces only.

How do I clean it?
